Heads up on a 575 HGTC hitting the market

Just wanted to let you guys and gals know that I traded my 2005 575 in this past week for a 2010 599 HGTE at Miller in Greenwich. They'll probably have it posted after wed.

For those not familiar with the car: 2 owner cali car brought back east by me. Stored at CCG in Bedford when not in my garage, no snow or salty roads seen. All maint is up to date, just replaced a faulty driver side window relay. Belts done.

Car has new conti's with 1300 miles on them, 10 mm Novitec spacers to fill out plus a few other upgrades done by my crew at AI Design, so the work is quality. All books, records covers etc.

Should be a good deal for somebody in the market.

And for those who are curious as to why I traded vs selling on my own: I didn't want to deal with the hassles. I've been down that road before and it sucks.

Pix of the 599 are on the 599 thread .

Taz: I believe you have this car in the registry but if not let me know and I'll PM the info to you.

Larry- Not sure, so PM it to me anyway and I will doublecheck. I remember the car being a really nice one. Somebody looking for a great deal may be able to do something before the car hits the market. Could you post some photos? HGTCs do not come up that often, especially one this nice.

Your new HGTE is beautiful. Great color combination.

Larry's 575M

If someone is in the market for a 575M, it does not get much better than Larry's HGTC. Here are some photos and a link to more.

No, it doesn't get much better than that. Nice 575 HGTC!

I do not recall the front lip being that glossy on delivery. Anybody know if that is a respray or option paint? While on the subject, what is the paint code for a stock lip?

Thanks, I just do not recall it being that glossy, maybe it is the picture and flash. Is that a PPG code? If so, maybe I need to freshen up my lip to remember what it looked like

Abe- Beats me. Call the shop in the link and ask them. They installed it for Larry.

That reminds me, seems like Larry had me look over the service records for the car and I probably still have them.

From the link.....
Alpine's new IDA-x305 head unit was chosen because of it's intuitive iPod interface. Alpine's SPX-13 Pro speakers were fitted to compliment the x305. Power comes from an Alpine PDX-5 amplifier, chosen for it's small size and efficient power delivery.

Does it really matter? Anything works better than the OEM radio that came with the car.

That Alpine should sound nice!

Barry- No, it does not matter. Mine is never on. That makes me a reverse radio snob.

But for all you peeps that have a "hard on" for originality, I have the OEM radio head, cd changer and speakers that came with the car and will be going with the car. So if one is inclined to reinstall all that crappy equipment for a purist look, it's there. Trust me though, the upgrade is worth it and with the exception of the unit head, you couldn't even tell. All original enclosures were used, new amp is mounted where old cd changer was and I left the old sub as I could not change it out within original mounting specs.

I have Tony Modena's PPI that he did for me and I fixed what was needed. Someone who is in the market has the oppy to get a really great 575 with the HGTC package.

Miller will have it in their hands tomorrow am.

Here it is on Miller's site.

This is a very rare 575M - They have it listed as front wheel drive!

Out of my range or I would buy it.
