What do you think it will actually sell for? Hummmmmm! I guess I could sell one of the kids, mom might even approve. Extra cash and lowers overall expenses - sounds like a win - win for me. |

Michael- I would think an offer in the $120-125K range would be enough. They do not come nicer than this one and it has been well kept. HCTC was a $25K option and the HGTCs will be the collector cars out of the entire Maranello range, sort of like 67 Corvettes.

Michael- I had a 63 FI roadster and my brother had a 340 hp split window coupe. Both long gone. I traded the 63 for a 67 427/390, which was a much better car, but not quite as unique. If you put the cerametallic shoes on the 63, they brake not much worse than the 65-67 discs, but they really have to be bedded in well.

my guess is 125k in hand, no financing bs does the deal. In today's market, money talks and credit gets the balk.
If anyone here is really serious about this car, I am more than willing to share my PPI from Tony Modena, what I fixed, what i did improvement wise etc. It really is a no story car, great gt cruiser, well maintained low key Ferrari (IMHO, most ppl didnt know it was one). The extras I put into it:9500 ci Radar/Laser, Alpine Head, Amp, Speaker upgrade, Novi 10mm spacers, new Conti's with 1300k miles, light tint make for a really good deal. |

Actually most dealers prefer credit purchases as profits are greater. If the buyer has strong credit, the dealer can gain a portion of the interest on the back end. Dealers have been doing this for years. The bank fronts all the money to the dealer and it is up to the bank to collect the payments. Dealers really don't prefer cash purchases in most cases...plus the reporting of cash transactions to the Feds is more BS...
Of course, dealers prefer non recourse paper in this scenerio. |

By cash, I'm not talking Scarface backroom cash, I mean certified check. You'd have to be nuts walking in with a few duffels stuffed with banded 20's!

Very nice car! I am looking at a few of them right now that have 15k miles on them. The price points on these seem to be all over the place. One very nice gray with a blue interior recently sold for $85000 privately.
I am looking at a Red Tan 2003 but the carfax says it was only serviced once in 2008. It has 15550 miles, and I am guessing it will need a new clutch soon. What else should I be on the lookout for? I am trying to coordinate my local Ferrari dealer to do a PPI on the car. AJ |

Tom- Five years from now that HGTC 575M will be worth twice what a now similarly priced 612 would be. Plus it is way prettier.
